Pogi VS the iPad

 

It's been a lackluster three months, with going to the gym slowly becoming a pigment of an imagination. Drama from both the left and the right kept hammering on the walls that it was better to lock the doors and stay indoors. Being relegated to just the couch or the bed after work hours, and the internet being a less shitty than it's usual self, both the iPad and the laptop became the star of the show...

 

"Ugh, I felt so weak from just lying here. It's been months now, maybe I should go to the gym..."

 

"Ding!"

 

"Oh, the farm I was building is already done? Cool. Maybe I'll play for just a couple of minutes before hitting the gym..."

 

"Would you look at that, I have full energy again. It'll be a waste if time is ticking and I'm not getting anything. I'll just used up all the energy then I'll prep for the gym."

 

"Ding!"

 

"Ho-hum, looks like my army came back from their labors. Time to send them out again so they'll gather more resources while I'm in the gym."

 

"Ding!"

 

"Ding!"

 

"Ding!"

 

"What? I got attacked? Who did that? Time for some revenge!"

 

"Whoah, cool new updates on the armor. I should check this out... but I have to go to the gym so I'll just try it for a few minutes..."

 

"Stupid dragon won't die. Maybe I should try a different approach. Hmmm, not working. Let's try anther one..."

 

"Alright that was fun! Now it's time to hit the gym. Oh wait, it's already too late. I need to sleep to prepare for work later. Darn stupid iPad! You win again this time! Argh!!!"

 

 

...and I grab the iPad one more time and continued playing until I fall asleep.

it was a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Butterflies are in the garden, the birds are singing, and the Sun is still shining it's last ray of sunshine for the day. Truly, it was an afternoon to enjoy...

 

"We should watch porn!"

 

"What the --?? Porn? As this time of the day? Are you crazy?"

"Shut up TL, it's a great afternoon. What else are we going to do?"

 

"Well, we could write what we're really feeling in our blog..."

"...Or we could watch some movies that we downloaded, or we could send a message to boyfie, or we could reach out and talk to those folks that we're trying to ignore..."

 

"You mean HIM, not THEM"

 

"Yes, him or any of those things instead of watching porn!"

 

"Shut up you two. DK, you're right, this is not a day to mope around, nursing our bruised ego. We should go to the gym and work out."

 

"Yes, we should go to the gym so we could ogle some hotties that we could think about when we masturbate later!"

 

"Eeewww! Is that all that's on your mind DK? Sex, sex, sex and more sex? No wonder you look like a troll"

 

"Speak for yourself, you stupid-ass-he-likes-them-more-than-he-likes-me-so-I'll-just-cry-myself-to-sleep fucker"

 

"I said shush it. We will go to the gym and workout. That's it. If we see someone worth looking it, then we can fantasize about them later. But for now, the goal is to enjoy this wonderful weather."

 

 

...I ended up in bed, all day, playing online games on my iPad.
